I had seen the 2-3 variants that has been in different issues of White Dwarf and the Dark Elf army book, and had been wanting for a long time to build a tower for my army. So Grand Tournament Los Angeles 2004 was coming up and a great reason to build a combined carrying tray and display board. I also wanted to be able to use the actual tower as a terrain piece for battles now that I made the effort of making a tower. So as you can see on the picture above it sitting on its own base. This also made it easier to travel with, I can take the tower off the board and stick it in a bag. So this is how it came out in the end.
